We are leaders in design and methods for research such as visitor satisfaction surveys, customer outreach, hunter and angler surveys, stakeholder surveys, and other similar efforts using qualitative or quantitative methods. We work with international governments, the federal government, sovereign tribes, state governments, NGOs, and private companies. We specialize in climate research in places where skepticism may prevail aiming for solutions to the ever increasing impacts of climate change.

RECREATION & PUBLIC LAND

Our research is looking at how to maximize sustainable recreation opportunities while also protecting biodiversity and hunting & angling opportunities. An important piece of this research is stakeholder involvement in conservation & recreation planning. We specialize in climate impacts on people and livelihoods.

PUBLIC POLICY THAT ENHANCES OUTDOOR RECREATION

OUR RESEARCH IS LOOKING AT THE TYPES OF PUBLIC POLICIES NEEDED TO ENHANCE OUTDOOR RECREATION FOR ALL.

INCREASING HUNTER & ANGLER ACCESS TO RECREATIONAL OPPORTUNITY

Our research is asking how can we better engage the next generation of hunters and anglers? How can we manage disease like chronic wasting disease (CWD) to make sure hunters keep hunting? How can we bring hunters and anglers from underrepresented backgrounds into hunting and fishing? How can we enact good public policy to keep hunting tourism popular and viable? How can we manage public lands and waterways to provide better hunting and fishing experiences for everyone?
